Our training program is led by a team of exercise physiologists, exercise scientists, physiotherapists and movement coaches all with a strong understanding of movement. Our trainers are all qualified allied health or fitness professionals with specific training to prescribe exercise therapy for a diverse range of clientele.
Justin Lang: Director | eXERCISE PHYSIOLOGIST
With over 20 years of experience in the industry, Justin brings a deep understanding of human movement, performance, and rehabilitation to every aspect of the Live Athletic philosophy. As the founder and programming lead, he provides the guiding framework behind our holistic, evidence-based approach to training.
Justin personally oversees the programming for all clients, ensuring that each plan is both scientifically grounded and tailored to the individual—whether they’re recovering from injury, striving for peak performance, or simply building a stronger, more resilient body.
Justin has key interested in Athletic Development and ACL rehabilitation.

DANIEL COOPER: pHYSIOTHERAPIST
Daniel leads the physiotherapy team at Live Athletic, bringing a thoughtful, results-driven approach to injury management and rehabilitation. With expertise in both manual therapy and exercise-based treatment, Daniel specialises in assessing and addressing musculoskeletal injuries through tailored, evidence-based care.
His dual focus on hands-on treatment and active recovery ensures clients not only heal effectively but build long-term strength and resilience. Whether you're recovering from an acute injury, managing a chronic condition, or aiming to improve movement efficiency, Daniel provides the expertise and support to help you return to doing what you love—stronger than before.

Taylor Johnson: EXERCISE PHYSIOLOGIST
Taylor is a qualified Exercise Physiologist with a strong focus on rehabilitation, functional movement, and women’s health. At Live Athletic, she leads the care and programming for all WorkCover clients, managing injury rehabilitation, exercise prescription, and gym floor operations with professionalism and compassion.
Taylor also holds a Diploma in Clinical Pilates, allowing her to integrate both Pilates-based movement and strength training into her treatment plans. She is also the lead programmer for our Women’s Strength & Conditioning stream—designing progressive, evidence-based training tailored to the unique needs of female clients at all stages of life.

Keely Silva: Physiotherapist
Keely is an experienced physiotherapist with a strong background in both sports and disability care. Having worked across a wide spectrum of clinical settings, she brings a well-rounded, empathetic approach to rehabilitation—balancing hands-on treatment with targeted exercise therapy to support long-term outcomes.
Keely is trained in dry needling and integrates it into her manual therapy when appropriate, alongside a strong emphasis on exercise-based rehabilitation. Her compassionate nature, combined with her clinical expertise, makes her a trusted partner in every client’s journey to recovery, strength, and confidence.

Josh Tattam: Exercise scientist
Josh is an Exercise Scientist and works supervising the gym floor. His journey began at Live Athletic whilst he was training for a national title in beach sprinting medalling in both 2019 and 2020.
At our facility, Josh leads the way in speed-focused training programs, combining his expertise in sprint mechanics and strength conditioning to help athletes and fitness enthusiasts reach their full potential.
Currently, Josh is furthering his knowledge by studying to become an Exercise Physiologist.

Dominic Soffe: exercise scientist
Dominic is a dedicated Exercise Scientist and Strength and Conditioning Coach with a passion for athletic development. At Live Athletic, he leads the men’s training programs, ensuring they are expertly designed to enhance strength, power, and overall performance.
In addition to his programming expertise, Dominic is a key presence on the gym floor, providing hands-on supervision and coaching. He also runs the cardio, agility, and conditioning sessions, where his attention to detail and commitment to excellence help members push their limits and achieve their fitness goals.
Dominic is furthering his studies to become an Exercise Physiologist.

zara lammers: pilates instructor
Zara is a qualified Mat and Reformer Pilates Instructor known for her dynamic, high-intensity Pilates sessions. She combines her expertise in strengthening techniques with a creative approach, ensuring every class is challenging, engaging, and effective.
Starting her journey as a member at Live Athletic, Zara developed a deep understanding of functional movement and gained the confidence to guide members of all fitness levels. Beyond her Pilates classes, Zara is a key presence on the gym floor, providing support, supervision, and personalised coaching.
Zara is currently studying a Bachelor of Exercise Science.

Chloe Candarakis: personal Trainer
Chloe is a qualified Personal Trainer with an extensive training background rooted in her journey to becoming a stuntwoman. Her passion for fitness began at Live Athletic, where she developed a strong foundation in strength and conditioning, eventually specialising in gymnastic strength training.
Known for her sharp eye for technique, Chloe is meticulous in her coaching, ensuring members perform movements safely and effectively. Her experience managing and overcoming multiple injuries gives her a unique perspective on rehabilitation, making her an empathetic and knowledgeable guide for those navigating their own recovery.
